Nervous newbie with a stuck float

I've posted a few times about my bike stalling and idling low and got some great responses so o figured I'd look to you guys for some motivation. I'm no mechanic and I have about as much of an idea about how to pull a carb as a guy who's watched a YouTube vid would have. So, I've had the bike (99 with 20k) in the shop a few times and they replaced the floats last time because they said the reason it was dying was a flooded bowl and it was causing it to drop the rear cylinder. Well I got it back and it was fine for 2 weeks. Rode it on a long 60 mile cruise and not a single issue and I rode it to work every day. This week the issue with a rough / low idle started again and it stalled out and was pouring gas out of the carb. So I'm like 99.9% sure it's flooding again. I threw some seafoam in there and got it running with the petcock off but as soon as I turn it on it dies. I'm going to try to pull the carbs this week and see if I can figure out what the hell is going on. I'm hoping that you guys can give me some tips about what to look for and let me know if you think it's worth it to replace all the fuel lines and petcock. I really just want to get this running right so I can enjoy it.

Thanks doc I gave it a shot although the right drain screw is stripped. So that's another project lol. I did it to one of the bowls and I had added a bunch of seafoam to the gas and ran it through about a half tank. It seems to be running much better after a nice long soak. Hopefully it stays like that. ?

Welp It was fine and I was able to do a short ride around town but when I tried to go for a longer ride on Sunday I made it about a mile before it seemed very hesitant and wouldn't rev past 4K and eventually died while I was going around 35-40. I was able to start it again after letting it sit for a bit and using some choke. I had to keep the petcock in the off position and was able to flip it to on while I was riding so I wouldn't run out of gas but I made it home. Do you think my best option is to just pull the carbs and replace everything and do an oil change or do you think there might be some other issues?

Just a little back story I've brought it to a local shop 2 times now for the same issue and each time they gave it back they said it was ok and it would work for a week or so then it would start up again. Either they're careless in their work or there is something else going on. Any suggestions would be helpful.
