Cone air filters

I know I have seen these on here but I can't find it now. What kind of air filter make and model do I need for my carbs for when I do this ear shave. I know it is on this forum but I just can't find them. Sorry guys for asking a redundant question.

Richard

Grace and Peace to you!

Giving a x2 for Uni PK92. 1/3 the price of the others, and I think the foam has slightly easier maintenance than gauze.

The recommended Emgo fit but will contact the bottom edge of the tank on one side (left?). I prefer Uni pods but I can never find the nicer chrome capped ones like those. K&N works but they don't filter worth a damn on any vehicle I've seen. They pass through so much dirt that it will accumulate on an intake if there's any oil for it to stick to.... otherwise it gets sucked straight into your engine. Great for the strip when engines get rebuilt all the time. Garbage for actually filtering.

Beginning to think they've stopped selling the chrome capped ones.

Yeah. Last year I ordered them from 3 places which specifically listed and depicted chrome. After the 2nd one showed up in all black plastic, I decided the same. They eventually changed their eBay and Amazon listings.

I will beg to differ on the k&n's.I've put MANY miles on my 700 in all four seasons here in New York(the four seasons being 1-salty slush,2-muddy mess,3-dusty ****,and 4-not as dusty ****)in the four years I rode my 700,I've had NO engine problems(psi 155 both cylinders) and no dirt or debris past the air filter.does anyone know why?I CLEAN AND OIL them twice a season as recommended.
