Ok, turning the mix screw worked, but why?
The popping stopped for me at about 2 .5 turns.
But if the problem is unburnt fuel making it's way to the pipes, then why does turning the screw out (CCW), and adding fuel to the mixture make it stop?
I would have thought that to stop the popping would have required reducing
the amount of fuel to the mix... not increasing it. Can anyone explain what's actually happening in there?
