Universal fuel tank cap

Do any of you knows of a universal fuel tank cap that will fit a 1986 vulcan 750? Thank you in advance.

I agree with Doc, stock is the way to go.

I looked in the past for a replacement, and even tho there may have been some that fit the hole, I would have had to deal with the area around it where the stock one mounts.. its recessed, and has 2 holes (for the screws that hold it) that pass all the way thru the skin. they would have to be plugged/filled to prevent rain/bugs from getting in, and keep fuel and fumes inside

I picked up a used one, with key, from a member here for a good price when I needed one. make sure you get one with a key (if possible) to avoid re-keying it to fit your ign key

Don't mean to thread jack here, but is the CA gas cap interchangeable with other non CA gas cap. I'm guessing no, but I just wanted to confirm. This is just strictly for my knowledge, in case I need to know it for the future.
