Having the choke on the handlebars is much easier to use on a cold morning than a frame mounted choke.

[/SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] The mini-skirt is a very functional article of clothing. With it a woman can run much faster; and because of it she may have too.

Then the ham sandwich says, forget this bar, I'm more of a club sandwich anyways and took the subway home.

Don't take my word for it. I'm just a foolish newbie.
When in doubt, just know that I am only joking around.

Are you only missing the cable? Are all the pieces on the choke plunger still there, like the fork levers, springs, and little metal bar between the two carbs. If so, then maybe you can just manually push the plunger lever out and in. I think you can see and reach the choke lever plunger on the left side by the petcock. It might take a little bit of pressure, but you should be able to push it in and out with your finger or a hard piece of metal like a key. Or you can weld or install a metal stick in there and pull the stick for easier use.

Don't take my word for it. I'm just a foolish newbie.

Cable is all it needs jacka$$ I got it from cut the cable when he removed the carbs

Was thinking of doing a frame mount like the one on my vn800 classic but I went ahead and ordered the cable instead.

Iím guessing that jackass remark was directed at me. I was merely offering you an alternative to using the choke cable, since you said you were missing the choke cable and no one had done the mod of which you speaketh.

Well I sir, for one will not stand here and be called a jackass. A dumbass maybe, but not a jackass. You have insulted my honor, I demand satisfaction. (Glove slap!!!) I challenge you to a duel.
