Question Need Petcock to Tank Oring...

Finally got the bike back together, fueled it, and gas was pouring from the petcock. When I look at the oring, it does not appear to be higher than the edge of the petcock so no seal is made.

Can not find part number on any of the bike part web sites. Do you have to buy a petcock to get the oring?

Thanks,
Jon

take the petcock into your local automotive parts house and ask the guy behind the counter to find an o-ring that fits...

It's an oval o-ring... Don't know if you can stretch a round one out like that without stressing it.

I might have one lying around. I'll check in a bit, and let you know what I find.

Worst case, use the TW200 as a source for the o ring since it fits the same and is less than $20.
