Question Popping at 60mph/4000 RPM

Ok...i've adjusted the air screws 100 different times and got all the popping out of it when it just sits there and when i rev through the entire range, at about 2 1/2 turns each. But...when I'm riding at exactly 60mph in 5th gear at 4K RPM, I'm popping and hiccupping until i let go of the throttle or speed up. I've tried all kinds of adjustment combinations but nothing has stopped it from doing this I am marbled and the air hose is stuck in the back of the right air filter...any other suggestions???

Thanks in advance...-Nick

There might be a leak in the exhaust somewhere.

Check the rubber manifold mounts for the carbs. You might be leaking air somewhere.

when you marbled did you plug off the vac hose to the right carb? Some forget to do that and it will cause the pops.

you may wish to check your air filters also.

Some use a screw or golf tee..I used a toy bullet from my kids toy gun. Anything that will fit. Glad to hear it fixed it.
