Still have carb issues, I think?

I just had my carbs off and cleaned, nothing was broke. Did find something in the one carb making the float stick. Cleaned them and put them back on bike and took it to a shop and had them resync the carbs. Now it starts great and idels fine but going down the road between 4-5ooo rpms it surges. Give throttel or slow down and it seems to run smooth. What do I look for now? I check for leaks around the boots and hose while it sat ideling with carb cleaner like was suggested and found none and I'm quite sure everything is hooked up right. I would be really greatfull for some ideas or suggestions as to what to look for or do next. Thanks!

Make sure the carb vent line is not bottomed out in the right ear. A 45 deg cut at the end will insure that's not the problem.
