Jason, you're a second ahead of me!

Breathers look great, but I was wondering about rejetting, too.

No re-jetting,Seen no reason to the plugs look great!I've put over 2000 miles on her and she runs good. You have to open the exhaust or you gain little. My buddy that gave her to me said if she had ran like that when he had her,he never would had let her go,LOL She's got a small whip from 7500 RPM to 9000
thats a nice surprise.I have the carbs at 4 1\2 terns out and a dab of permatex to keep them there.Tried 2 1/2 and so on but at 900 rpm I can punch it and she takes off rite now!No popping no backfires just baaaaa clean sound I love it .I can't take credit for the way she runs that go's to you guys. Thanks for the compliments, didn't know how it was going to look I was trying to save a buck.Forgot I had to bye the wingnuts 1.50 it came with ugly ones.

Can you offer up a few more details on where you got 'em, what kind, etc.? I just Orleans' engine back in the frame, and I know the whole freakin' airbox thing is gonna push me over the edge again. For 20-odd bucks, i'll be willing to experiment on this one.

Looks good
Gives a subtle race style to the bike.

And I second the '9000rpm OMG'.
Redline's at 8500. You're really givin' it all it's got there!!
I think I've had mine at just about 8500 a few times, getting up to speed (had to let my buddy know his 1100 Shadow's got nuttin' on the Adventure Cycle!!) but never for very long periods.

Yes Hyper I do,What happen is she ran so bad when I got her that I had plenty of time to switch gears, now that she runs so good she gets to 9 before I know what happen. She don't no or give you any warning (slowing or valve float) So I don,t want to mess her up,but it don't seem to bother her.I think her red line is closer to 10,000.Most of the time run like a Harley unless I race one.I got them at advanced auto and autozone has them to, had to modify the carb boots to fit the 4 inch opening now when I need new ones
it's 4 bucks instead of 50.
