I recommend it for all with carb or exhaust probs.
I also recommend,that if you get the chance hook your bike up to an exhaust gas analyzer, sure helps solve mixture problems.
Ps I had a heavily worked Honda years ago, and fitted all sorts of exhaust systems. In the end just for interest sake I refitted the standard 4 into 4 pipes.
The K series 750/4 was probably over all, better with the stock pipes, even though it had grown to 1000cc with a full race cam.
The after market jobs are great if your stock pipes are wrecked, but I wouldn't go out of my way for them.
