Repro air filter elements.

I removed my stock air filters to find the foam had completely disintegrated.
Not an uncommon problem with age, so down to the local rubber and foam merchant I went, invested $5. Then stencilled around the gauze elements, used a little glue, and hey presto, new foam filters.
A quick spray with the correct oil, and ready to install.
I love it when a plan comes together!

Good deal. I'm sure you picked up a foam very similar to the density ect of the oem filters.
You might want to mention what glue you used as not all will be foam friendly or automotive tough.

Good job reviving on a budget!

The glue I used was Bostik multi bond. The foam supplier recommended glue they had on the shelf. Fingers crossed, that my glue works, or it's back to the drawing board.
