hi,
Bambi here again.
i have marbled my VN750. the rear firs better now, without a doubt.
but, on the front of the cylinder, there is another breather pipe attached to the head, but not on the rear cylinder.
the front is what is causing the problems.
horrendous backfire with orange flames.
on a normal bike, i would assume a leaking exhaust or perished inlet rubber. but these are OK.
what does this pipe do? is it another type of reed valve?
Kawasaki are checking out the coil for me as we speak.

Where on the engine is this hose located? I believe you're talking about the crankcase breather hose but am not sure.

You did marble BOTH sides right? There's a reed valve on both sides (1 per cylinder). I'm sure you did but better to ask than not.
