Carburetor Fuel and Vacuum Connections

I just finished my first complete rebuild of the carburetor on my 1992 Vulcan 750. I took photos during the disassembly...then my iPhone crashed and erased everything. I've spent several hours on this forum and still cannot find a clear diagram on where all of the fuel and vacuum hoses connect.

Please help me figure this out. Below is a image of the bottom of my fuel tank, hose connections in front of the battery and the carburetor. Please help me connect the dots. (ie. attached A to #3, etc)

"A" and "C" are the fuel inlets...they hook to "1" and "3"....
"D" is vacuum and goes to "2".....
"4" is just a vent and can be left open....
"5" is also a vent and can be left open....
"6" is part of the emissions and most of us have removed that unit, so not sure....
Either "5" or "B" can go to "6" I believe....

Use the search feature at the top of the board, and you should be able to find all you need.

....let us know where you are....you might have a member close by that can help you out in person....

Garage
wolfie is correct except for 6 runs to E
4 and 5 go to either the right ear, or open to the elements,
C runs to the right ear (air cleaner)

C is a carb fuel inlet as Wolfie said, B goes to the right ear.
Tough to keep up when writing a post and can't look at the pix & diagrams.

Fuel hoses are crossed on mine - front of petcock to left carb, rear of petcock to right carb. Less chance if kink in fuel line I guess.
A to 3, C to 1

Sorry for this but still not sure where "B" still suppose to go. I follow everything else but not sure of that one. You say right ear, where is that at?

right side air filter. cut the end of the hose at a 45 degree angle and stick it into the hole on rear of that ear filter

No. In your picture it goes in one of the slotted holes at the top of the picture to the left or right of the square opening. Looks like one of yours is semi crushed so I guess it would have to be the other one.

OK. Thought it had to be connected to a vacuum port somewhere. So it is basically a dead end, well with 45 deg. Cut on it dead ended. Thank you both so very very much!
