won't start

I posted in a previous form about popping noise. my bike just died and now wont start and there is oil leaking from the spark plug she will not turn over haveing her towed noe

Well you might have found the key to your popping problem.

Loose spark plug???

It would run lean as heck with the spark plug being loose like km said.

Hope you didnt wreck those threads.

Put a compression checker in there while you have the plug out, nice and easy to get to the plugs on these, for me I have to remove the flippin tank

i will get new plugs and try them out they have been in there for like 2 years no issues but i will were can i get a compression checker ?

You can rent a compression tester at Autozone....but that leak and stuff seems to be by the front cyllinder ?....funny....because when Doc was here this past weekend, he had a similar thing....check the oil breather hose between the fan and front cyl....if its cracked/off/missing, it will do the same, and cover the side of your engine in oil....really.....

i will try off of this tonight if i can find a 18mm thin wall i hope its somthing easy i hate not riding

Note: Sears stores have Thin Wall Spark Plug sockets (Craftsman) on the rack... $7. ?
K-mart carries Craftsman as well...tho don't know about the thin wall SP sockets.
