Cant get the choke cable off

im disabling my vn750 and im have trouble getting the choke cable disconnected from the carb, if any one has any tips it would be incredibly useful.

You come in to this site, post 2 times total, both posts the same thing. Not cool.

As for tips, sure - remove the cable from the choke lever, then remove the whole carb, now you can easier investigate how the choke goes into the carb

if the original poster is concerned about quality of fuel... why not open the drain on the carb and let the tank drain out, or pull the hose out of the petcock and drain the tank, then refill tank with quality fuel and try again?
