Alternative to the tw200 manual petcock

So, i was doing some research last night on the tw200 petcock, because I believe i'm having fuel issues from wot for too long, causing loss of vacuum to the fuel valve! I've heard of using the tw200 and it being a direct fit, but there were questions as to whether it would flow enough fuel to feed our 750's? Me being the curious person I am, I decided to see if there were other options?!

I went to my favorite microfische website and pulled up the tw200 petcock! Then I clicked on the gasket number and it brings up everything that uses the same gasket number, which should mean having the same bolt pattern! What I found is that the 96 virago 750, the xvz1300 and xvz1600 all use the same o-ring, so I pulled them up on ebay and it looks like a slightly better design, and NO VACUUM! I am assuming here, but I would think if that petcock could feed the virago 750 even up to the xvz1600 then it SHOULD be ok with OUR 750's, any takers? Ideas?

Here's one on ebay: Virago Petcock

Or how about this one from a xvz1300!!! xvz1300 petcock

and this from the xvz 1600 xvz1600 petcock

Only thing I can think of is maybe if the fuel pickup tubes would be too tall for our tanks, or throw off the reserve amount, meaning it goes to reserve at 2 gallons rather than 1 gallon? I'll do some more research on those bike's tank sizes!

Ok, so, fuel capacities......
the 96 virago 750 has a capacity of 4 gallons
the 1300 has about 4.4 gallon
and the 1600 is about 4.8 gallon capacity!

So, maybe the 1600 pickup would be too tall for our tanks? Just a thought, have no measurements to back it up?! I also, have ONE MORE culprit as potential for a replacement, and at least it's a Kawasaki part! Off of the KLR650, same gasket number as our vulcan, and there is a non vacuum version for it! The main fuel pickup looks shorter than that of ours or the above listed, but it still sits above the reserve pickup, so should work just fine! Here's a link to this one:

just a thought.....
Would our tank/petcock screen fit on one of these petcocks ?
Would that make a difference on the pick-up ?

I'm not sure if ours will fit in there?! I think I'm going to order one here soon, I'll see if the screen fits and post back any results!

Yeah they may be, although one of them had a vehicle fitment thing and I checked to see if the other bikes were in the drop down list and none of them were?! So I'm not 100% sure they're the same?!

The ones for the 1300 and 1600 look to have a larger diam outlet, but hard to tell from the pic...honestly, the Virago one looks exactly the same as the TW200 replacement....I was concerned too about flow...but after actually seeing the TW200 that I bought, I think it will be plenty....also...on the TW200 one, you can drill out and tap the other end, to make it dual feed again if desired. More than likely can on these too.

Yes, it works perfectly. No flow issues at all. You just need a Y or a T to feed both carbs through the single outlet on the petcock. I took it up to redline plenty of times with that petcock, no fuel starvation issues at all.
