Gas tank leak at rear bottom edge

I got a tank that is leaking on the right hand side right on the very end. Its a very small hole Looks like someone might have tried to repair this.. I see weld spots on the bottom underside of tank.

Is there a best option?

From researching it seems

POR15
JBWELD
BRAZING
NEW TANK

are the options.. of course I am looking for the most economical solution.

I personally have used JBweld to fix a leak, just like that one, but it was due to rust. I never had anymore trouble with it.

I'd say most economical would be to try the JB weld first.
Seeing as your plannin' on painting the tank anyhow, ya could skuff it up a bit so the JB will hold good.
