Mixture Screw Location

I have read the Vulcan Verses regarding popping in the exhaust. Are there any photos of the carb assys on the bike which show the location of the mixture screws?

I found the Vulcan Verses to have some great documented information!

As luck would have it, yes there are pictures. Cindy put up an album with them. Here is the pic for the air mixture screw:

BTW, there is a sticky in the section called Carb Parts - Photos and Labels.

Just as a bonus to what Deviate already told you... if no one has messed with those screws, they might be sealed with a cap.

To get at them, most people recommend to CAREFULLY drill the caps to take them off.

I used a screwdriver and a hammer, being careful not to hit them too hard so I didn't break other stuff. Hitting with the hammer and screwdriver also pops them out if you hit at the edge, so it's easy to take them out.

I guess just do the one you're most comfortable with. I'm not good with drills, so I wasn't comfortable using the method that others had suggested.

Thanks for the help. I was fortunate the caps had been removed!
