air/fuel adjustment screw plug
Did the ear shave, put carb back in place and tank in place. . . then decided to adjust air/fuel screw. Trying to pick out the plug covering the screw, but i'm actually bending my picks. What is the plug made of normally? I'm assuming the last owner replaced it with something abit more permanent.

Don't know why anyone would put a plug back in after being removed. You might try a sharp pointed screw like maybe a sheet-rock screw, Lightly tap the point in, turn slightly and pry out.

or just drill a small whole in the center and then drive a sheet rock screw in then all you have to do is jiggle wiggle fuss fight and cuss the little booger out
i got my helmet but it sure makes licking the windows a chore

I see. See I was just fighting and cussing at the thing without a sheetrock screw, wasn't really getting anywhere. Thanks for the advice, I'll try it tonight.
