Ear Shave Coasters Anyone???

I am in the process of collecting the components to perform an ear-shave on my '96 vn750 following this procedure: http://06vn750.blogspot.com/2011/05/...nt-format.html

HOWEVER: the coasters supplier is out of business!!! http://www.shermscycleproducts.com/coasterpage.html

Anyone know where I can grab a pair, or know of anyone who manufactures them? Everything is in the mail, just one more piece to the puzzle, and then a cold-winter project will be in the works... Any help greatly appreciated!

Garage
you can make your own easily....use the reed valve plate as a template.
alluminum stock is easy to get and a hacksaw, file/grinder and a drill is all you need.

Thats how i make mine. I use mild steel though because thats what i have on hand. I paint mine high temp aluminum color to match the rest of the engine.

@ VoIP Doc those coasters are gorgeous! Regardless, as I'm the impatient sort I went with the pair posted on Ebay. Thanks AZvulcan17. Really appreciate it, can't wait to rip off those ears!
