Broken Fuel Nipple

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum and to the Vulcan. A 1985 700A1 was given to me the other day. It has 23,000 miles on it and seems to be in decent condition, given it has been sitting for 8 years. In the process of cleaning the carbs, I went to pull the rear fuel line off the carb body. Unfortunately the little plastic L- nipple disintegrated completely, leaving only the brass mount. Does anyone know of a better fix than super gluing a fuel line to it? Any advice appreciated.

This happened to my bike by the PO. I ordered one off a website for like $22 only to find out that the harley dealership down the road had them for $12. I'd check the one around u if it isn't too far or go with the one OlHoss linked to.
