750 carb /intake toys

today i took my carbs off to remount the rubber boots due to air leaks, i took the front cylinder boot off and found a round piece of rubber in the intake. its about 3/4 inch thick with hole in middle, was not damaged. does anyone know what it could be? ( i noticed it in there before i got boot all way off)

I think we will need a photo. You're saying it was just in there loose?

(between the carb and the cylnder intake right?)

Guessing you didn't find one in the other jug?
