April Fools!

I had a little April fools today...Rode yesterday and all was normal until I jumped back on in the afternoon to get something in town. Bike would not idle correctly, backfired heavily on deceleration, and died without throttle at stop signs.
Got her back home, determined that the rear cylinder was firing only occaisionally. Began checking spark and wiring, all was normal. Checked for kinked fuel line, no problem.
Came out this morning to really get into the bike, took off the seat and began to begin disassembly until the problem was found.
The vacuum cap had split and fallen off the rear carb and she was sucking too much air. Had a spare in the drawer and had her fixed in no time. Put an extra in the tool box too.
April fools on me! Lucky I didn't get too far before noticing.

Those little caps are bad about breaking up. I use a hose and capped it and ran it up under the seat.
