Small leak - old fuel line?

I noticed a small gas leak pooling in the V section of the engine, and finally have traced down where it originated from (at least, from what I can tell).

The leak only would happen if I have a decent amount of gas in the tank. Anything below half and it doesn't do it. The fuel line is probably quite old, judging by the picture. I have new fuel line ready to throw on when I perform the balance damper install.

I noticed the leak was a little bit dark, as if there was a tad bit of oil in it. I wonder if this is a sign of anything else, or just the old fuel line needing replacement?

Here is a image of the fuel line connection in question, its LH side in the middle of the carbs.

Sweet deal.

I'd hope it would be easy to install, without a carb removal anyways. I may completely pull the engine when I do my dampers, so I'll have decent access.

Thanks for the info all around. I may go ahead and replace the fitting with a brass one anyways; no need to have nearly 25 year old plastic being in control of my fuel.

The only ones I can find online are around $40 out the door. Worth it, but I'll check locally first. (Example)
