air filters or the lack of them

I opened my filter covers yesterday to find them completely dry rotted and crumbled down in the bottom of the filter housing. So that would mean I need to get some new filters.

Where can I get the filters? Is this still a common item at a Kawasaki store?

Blessings!

Although I'm doing the ear shave. I'd check out Ebay or ur local Kaw dealer for replacement OE filters. I checked with my Kaw and they stated that they can order them in, just don't keep them in stock for as old as my bike is.

I just searched "vn 750 vulcan air filters" and got 58 hits.

This link seems to be the least expensive ones and claim OEM quality:

It may also mean you might have to do a complete carb cleaning. You had to have been sucking pieces of foam, and dirt, into the carbs potentially clogging the pilot jet, the main jet, and the needle valve.
