Question carb parts help

Due to some of the problems Ive been having lately, I plan on ordering a carb rebuild kit and a new air cut off valve. I will be ordering from this site

http://www.siriusconinc.com/search_r...earch&x=21&y=2

My question is that there is 2 air cut off valves listed. PN 88-k004 and 88-k001. Does anyone know which one is correct. They both say for my bike (91 vn750us) but just wanna make sure before ordering. Thanks for the help in adavnce.

I did the petcock rebuild already. More than happy with that. I have an erratic idle that will go to about 4000rpm and then back down to idle (1100rpm). This might be caused by the air cutoff valves so since im gonna rebuild the carbs im going to do those at the same time. I have the petcock that says off. Im just not sure which air cutoff valve to order since both list this bike.

I would go with the k001. It lists our bikes from 85-06 and there's no change in the carbs through all the years. They're probably both exactly the same kits but the part numbers cross over or something.

Dave

Mods:
Jetted, shaved & coastered
Home made under-tank single filter
Converted ACCT's to manual (thanks wib714)
Dual vac lines on petcock (my cure for ticking)
LED tail/plate lights
Relocated helmet lock to license plate

Added stuff:
Customized hard bags w/ lights
Chrome levers
Hellcat windscreen
LED running lights
Home made 'Vita-Volt' meter
Foot rests on engine guard
Tunes

Hmm....she was on the back when we left.... ??

The carb(s)

The carbs are Keihin model CVK34...they are also used on many other vehicles including ATVs and ArcticCat Snowmos...instead of spending on shipping, may wanna check around for a local ArcticCat dealer...*wink*
That way too, you can even match up the replacement parts.

So I contacted the parts guy and he says the one of the kits has a slightly longer spring in it. Im not sure how this is possible due to no carb changes but if someone has their carbs apart and could measure the air cutoff valve spring length it would be great. Otherwise im going to order the kit that list all years and hope for the best.
