engine missing a bit at times.

Hello guys, 1986 vn750 v/h pipes and no rejet yet. Ive got all original parts on the engine other that the exhaust and spark plugs @18k miles. Engine starting to miss a bit in the rear cylinder. iriduim plug recently also. Im thinking its time to change out plug wires, coils and check the signal from lower engine cover also. A carb cleaning is scheduled for next weekend as well. Bike runs very strong tho. Vance and hines pipes are loud, but sound really good on the ole vulcan. Any other thought or suggestions? Any help would be much appreciated . Ive have this ole girl for a long long time and starting to ride her alot this year.

I also put some seafoam in the tank this morning and ran the bike this evening to see if there was any improvement. The bike idled better and missed a little less. Im thinking this must be generally carb related in nature. Fully charged battery seems to make a difference also.

Yea, I think I'd pay attention to the spark wires and the carbs. You already mentioned you plan on cleaning the carbs and replacing the wires though, so I suppose you're on the right path!
