Hose Locations After Carb Rebuild

Finished a carb rebuild today & I have 2 hose routings ? I did look in the manual & parts schematics.

1.On the bottom of the fuel level sending unit, there appears to be a hose barb. I didn't see a hose that connected to it when I removed the tank. Is there one?

2. The center petcock hose goes to the left hand carb correct? I assume this is a vacuum hose to open the petcock.

thanks guys

1. "The bottom of the fuel level sending unit" .... you're going to have to be more specific because I have no idea what you're talking about. There should be no hoses on the actual bottom of the carbs, though. Many members have had a lot of trouble with the vent lines that lead into the right ear. They both feed into a T before feeding again into a spot behind the right ear. This might be what you're talking about.

2. You are correct in your assumption that the center petcock hose is a vacuum hose. It connects to a nipple on the left side of the left carb and will give you serious idle issues if it's not air-tight.
