What Oil (not engine) Do You Suggest?

I'm not asking about engine oil.

I'm talking the oil that goes in the right side container. Which I assume is being mixed with the gasoline.

What brand / type do you suggest?

That is anti-freeze (coolant).

What?? You can't be talking about the reservoir for the radiator coolant can you? By the right side cover, white plastic bottle covered by black plastic, has a sight level slot in it. Takes a 50/50 mix of coolant.

50/50 canola and peanut mix. Use closer to 75% canola if run a higher octane gasoline, like 110.

LOL - nope...I'm a clueless goober when it comes to mechanical things. *shrug*

I honestly didn't know what that reservoir was for. Just saw that it was getting low.

I'm a network engineer. Not a mechanical engineer.

Good thing I asked, 'eh?

(and before you wonder why I even thought it was oil...my first bike had to get mixed with 2-cycle engine oil, and had a little tank for it)

^^^^ I know how you feel, my friend.

IIRC, the recommended coolant would be something that says Dexcool -- which is safe for aluminum radiators. I believe it's orange as opposed to the green stuff. Some one correct me if I'm wrong.

I use green, but dexcool will work well too.

Garage
I thought it said "coolant" on the cap...

Thankfully you asked before putting oil in there.

As far as I know, only Two Stroke motors used oil/gas mixes, but wow, wouldn't a two stroke V twin be bitchen to have?

No valves, not ACCT to fk with, likely even more power. Damn EPA......
