the air mix screws

ok people this might sound dumb ...but where can i find the air mixture screws on my 95 vulcan it does have the ca emissions. i would like a picture if anyone has one. also is there a adjustment for the coaster enrichment.i am having back fire issues.

They are on the carbs. One on each side. Covered by a little metal cover. There are a lot of threads explaining this better than I can and that have pics. Perhaps search air mix screws or wait till someone else chimes in.

The screws are under a metal cap that needs to be removed.
Drill a tiny, shallow hole and pop the cap off with a pick or awl.
Be careful, don`t go deep with the drill bit, or you will deform the screw head.

I can`t find any reference to an adjustment for the coasting enrichener. Just this service advice.
Check the cover for damage.
Make sure the vent hole in the cover is clear.
Check the diaphram for tears or cracks.
