Fuel level indicator

Is it possible to re-calibrate the fuel level gauge?
Mine seems to be quite out of "sense". I can drive 60 miles without the indicator moves anything, then it drops as mad and at 120 miles it's down under 1/3.
Ok it's not "that" important cause I watch milage atm instead of the gauge to determine when it's time to refuel, but it's still disturbing that it's not works as expected.

The tank float stay at it's upper most position unitl the fuel goes down quite a bit. I would not fret over it.
