Thumbs up Good news! It started after sitting for over a year.

Well, today I installed a new MF-AGM battery, turned the key and after 10 seconds on the starter the old girl fired right up on full choke with nary a hiccup. It was about 70* F outside, and I let her warm up for 5 minutes or so and gradually pushed the choke off. It hesitated a bit as I rolled on some throttle, so it may need a little more Seafoam to get the fuel power circuits cleaned out.

So now some servicing, cleaning and polishing begin. If I get my leg healed up enough to ride this season, the Cosmic Lady is going to be ready mechanically and shined up. I might even try to get her into a local show and shine this summer too. I am psyched.

I probably should have put this in the goats belly, but the power of a little Seafoam in the tank and carbs is proved again!!

Gordon, that had to be a great feeling, hearing the engine fire up after so long. I'm so glad for you buddy! Can't wait to hear about your riding, but take your time. It will come.
