Air filters - Ear Shave - Coasters - HELP?

I want to ditch the 'ears' with the stock air filter system and replace with either one pod filter under the front end of the tank or a pair of pods - one at each carb.

I'm seeing coasters a lot on the forum connected with this mod- I have NO idea what the coaster is for and how it works. Can someone explain the coasters?

I don't know what jets I need to buy to match up with all this, I'm comfortable rebuilding carbs but I don't know what jets to buy in order to match the modifications i'd like to do to the intake. Should I just buy the whole shabang from Lance?

THANKS!!!!

You can buy the coasters off ebay through this link http://tinyurl.com/y4pjt3u As for instalation I cant recommend reading thru the vurses enough provided on this site. Pretty basic.

yes get the whole shebang from lance, he can hook you up with the correct jet combo, the coasters and all the pieces to do these two mods for cheaper than you could source them your self with out doing a lot of searching. I just bought the jets from Lance, and they should be here next week.
