Fuel Elbow Question

As per another member I went to the HD dealer to get a new fuel elbow, HD part # 27371-76A. Well this is what I got, they said they stopped using the plastic a while back due to the cracking, anyone else use this new style fuel elbow?

I have attached pictures of what I got from HD.

Garage
I have never used that exact fitting on my bike b4... but I do have a question... you didn't spend over 2 bucks plus tax on that thing did you? Napa sells the same fitting in the weatherhead line for cheap... (when i used to work at NAPA we were selling them for a $1.25 plus tax, but that was back in 1997-1999)

Cool, thanks for the reply drodeo17, I just wanted to make sure it is the correct part before I install it. Always seen the elbows with plastic on them so this threw me off.

That`s an expensive looking piece for just an elbow.

Why don`t they just bend a piece of steel fuel line to 90*?

Before you put these in make sure it is lined up right. Send lance328 a pm. He can tell you exactly how they should go. Once you press them in they are in there for good.
