Tank hose?

There is a nipple on the bottom of the tank that has nothing on there. IT comes from the black box in the center of the tank that is under it. What is it. And should it be capped or is something not connected?

Thet is where the erly model carb vent tube connected.

If your carb vent tube is in the back side of the right ear just keep it there. Kawasaki moved it from the bottom of the tank beacuse if it is not done correctly the hose will kink.

NO, it's just a cover for the fuel sending unit, it pops off.
