Stuck float valve

the float valve on my 1985 vn700 is stuck. I took the carburetor apart and the rear float valve came out fine, the front float valve, however, will not come out. I've tried spraying and soaking it with carb cleaner but the thing wont budge.

Any suggestions?

Still stuck? I wonder if you could grab the valve needle from the grooves by small internal circlip pliers?

Thanks for the suggestion, i ended up drilling two holes at and angle on either side of the valve and prying it up with two scribes. The valve was really corroded, no wonder there was no gas in the carbs! lol
