where is the drain located on the vn750 carbs, mainly the carb on the right side as you sit on the bike

It is at the bottom of the carbs. It is a straight edge screw type. Unscrew it and the fuel will drain.

You might want to turn your fuel valve off and run the bike until it stalls out before you drain the carbs. Less messy that way.
