Ear Shave vacuum/vent hoses

Hello everyone,

I am in the final stages of completing the ear shave. Can anyone walk me through the final vent and vacuum hose connections?

Thank you,
Jim

It's easy, one carb vacuum line goes to the petcock, cap the other one off.

Vent hose from each carb, use the existing tee and run the single open hose to the cover on the fuel gauge sender, or the frame tube under the gas tank, to keep the carb vents out of the wind.

Wind on the vents causes bogging.

I forgot the crankcase vent out front.
Either put a filter on the short hose off the engine, or lengthen the hose to mount higher up on the bike. The vicinity of the old ear is a good spot.
