Tool for Carb Fuel Needle

I'm trying to get at the fuel needles to adjust, but I find it extremely hard to get at them with the angle they're at. Can anyone recommend a tool to use to get to them? Do I just need a really tiny flat head screwdriver?

That's what you need. I think someone here made a tool, but said it wasn't much better than a screwdriver.

You're talking about the idle air mixture adjustments, right?

Yes, exactly. I did the earshave mod and I believe it's running too rich now, so I wanted to readjust, but just find it very difficult to get to it.

I don't believe those screws affect anything above idle. If it pops on decel or idles bad, that's where those adjustments can work.

Yeah it does idle rough, and you can smell gas when it idles which I've read the idle screws can help with.
