Float level adjustment

I read in the manual that you have to have a special hose to adjust the floats and unlike carbs Iíve worked in the past, you caint check your adjustments with the carbs out. Is there a way to make this tool? Whatís the easiest way to do the Float adjustments?

It's not "special" just a length of clear PVC.
Easy to check float height
Still a pain in the ass to adjust it
