Thumbs up Watts to spare?

I read a post in the past that the vn750 can use so many extra watts without overloading the charging system. I remember reading a post, maybe by KM that you could go to 70 watts of accessories. If I were in the 30 watt range would that not stress the charging system??Thanks Paulywog.

No, 30w would be fine....as long as your charging system is working fine. I was running 40w with my driving lights, but switched them off if I was stuck in stop and go traffic.
If you're using heated gloves, they are mostly needed when you're moving, so switching them off if you're stopped for some time would be similar.

Be a good idea to install a voltmeter to keep an eye on your volts...

If you want to get crazy with the charging system, search "vn 750 external alternator" that should keep you busy for awhile, lots of work, but would give you what you want.

Thanks KM,you were right, either heated gloves or liners. Liners were less watts and I have a nice pair of deerhide leather gauntlet gloves that I'm fond of. Thanks.
