The Sunpie bulb I'm running is the 40 watt version. Doubt it is as many lumens as claimed, but it's WAY better brighter than stock and very affordable. It's no JW Speaker EVO II (considered the BEST LED projector headlamp EST $250), but at 1/5th the cost, I'm more than satisfied.

The color is more of a pure white. No real blue that I can see, Will take a few different pics tonight once it's dark.

8000 Lumens!

Does that mean you can sear the bumper stickers off of the cars in front of you?

vendors are using the theoretical output, not the usable output, most of the time when listing led's.

Thanks for those pics. Looks like it is good "daylight" color temperature, bluer than filament bulbs for sure.
I did my cluster in red LED's, love the softness and the night vision benefits,

Does the headlamp fit a 7 inch Sealed Beam opening?

It was necessary to change out the entire headlight bucket assembly to fit this headlamp. Stock VN750 headlight bucket & trim wont work. I used a Kawasaki KZ750-B (1976-1979) headlight assembly with the Sunpie LED projector headlamp. Specs on the replacement bucket are as follows...

8 inch Assembly Diameter
7 inch Lens Diameter
7 1/2 width at mounting points

Paid $52 shipped for a brand new fully metal chrome headlight assembly (bucket, trim, mounting rings). (Note) You will reuse the mounting rubber inserts and bolts /nuts from your factory bucket. See link below...

Here's a "How To" video on using the Kawasaki KZ750-B (1976-1979) headlight assembly with the LED projector headlight...

My headlight bucket is just a cover for the electrical wiring now. I installed a Vetter Windjammer. The Vetter has a 7 inch opening for a Sealed Beam headlamp, some of the adds for the daymaker and knock offs indicate it fits a sealed beam hole.

I imagine it should work then. If not, Amazon has a excellent return policy and has always sent me a prepaid return label. Hope it works out and post up pics should you pull the trigger!
