Threw in a bid, but I'm not really looking for a new speedo. So if someone here outbids me, have at it!

Indeed! Somewhere down the road, someone else will need one - so I'll put it in my "box o' things" until that day.

So tell me Crobins, how many complete VN750s do you have in your "box o' things" if you put all the parts together.

LOL

Fewer than I used to. I just bought a project bike back in early December and it needed some stuff totally replaced. So all the spare cables I had just went into the project as well as various and sundry bits (like a cover for the right side exhaust header pipe). I have been sending a lot of stuff out to folks, however, and realize that if I wanted to sneak a 750 into Russia, I could probably mail it to myself in small boxes (some assembly required...).

I know the first place to go when the day comes when I need a part... or something smuggled. Do you have different kinds of bikes or are you strictly VN750?

I have a Virago 750 from 1983 that I've been mucking around with for over a year, and just can't get enthusiastic about. Didn't need much to start with (new starter clutch, LH controls, a few small bits), but I just can't get into it at all. Replaced what needed to be replaced, and now just need to button it up, clean the rest of it up, and sell it. Can't even get enthusiastic about that! So, I think the Vulcan is really all I've got in my repair arsenal these days.
