VN-700 controls

I bought a used left hand control assembly on ebay for a VN-750. It looks just like the roached out one on my 85 VN700. But when putting it on I noticed that mine has two plugs, a large one that is the same and a 6 pin. The one I bought has a 3 pin plug. Hmm. Everything looks the same, directional, horn, hazard switch, plug that goes in to the handle. So, why does mine have 3 more wires? I am thinking now of just swapping the guts from mine to the one I bought on ebay. Just think its weird.

I used a 2000 harness on my 86. There were some unnused connectors from the auto canceling signals like mentioned.

Oh ok. Thanks. Well I used the old harness and bottom. The top was the icky looking part anyway, so I replaced that with the one I purchased,
