Need headlamp opinion..

My headlamp is discolored yellow, dosen't shine very bright and I'm thinking of buying one from candlepower. I'm checking to see if any of you might be using one or one of their replacement bulbs and what you think about their product....Thanks..

I do not know them, sorry. I do know that Silverstar or Piaa makes a good white light headlight replacement bulb.

I don`t think I`ve seen your name here before. Welcome to the forum.

I assume you are saying that the lens is yellowed, not the bulb. I wasn`t even aware that the lens was plastic and not glass.

The link that lance gave you looks to be high quality at a reasonable price. That is likely about as good a value for your money as you will find.

I guess I should say It's kind of a yellowish blur....I haven"t posted much...I"ve had to do a lot of reading on the fourm to learn how to do the things I needed to do....It has been quite a few years since I've ridden....

I use...

I use a Sylvania H4ST 3 BP 6 Silver Star High Performance Halogen Headlight Bulb http://www.amazon.com/Sylvania-H4ST-...8520840&sr=8-1

Love it, very crisp, brite, clear/white Hell of a bulb. Only caveat is that they're short lived. Read the reviews at Amazon. Don't know how I rode with out one. I bought two, carry one as a spare.
