Need battery opinion

would like your opinion on the big crank and the interstate cycle-trons.... i'm uneasy about the wet cell that was new when i bought the 91...the po had installed a new stator and i sure don't want to damage it. I have a volt meter installed and charging seems fine so far..the big crank has 190 cca and the interstate has a 210 and a 190.. would like your opinion....thanks..

The Big Crank is AGM-MF, and it is what I just installed.

A variance of 20 CCA isn't a big deal. A lot of manufacturers use the Yuasa which is the same battery, and yet their labels go from 190 to 220.

The Big Crank battery is actualy a Deka battery made by East Penn Manufacturing Company in Pennsylvania. They are MF AGM batteries and are a quality product made in U.S.A. I just put one in my buddies Road King, and I orderd one for me. P/N ETX15L I went with Deka simply because they are the manufacturer. You can buy them on Ebay for $68.00 deliverd ebay #270282472155 Check it out!

I went with the Big Crank, bought on-line from Battery Mart for less than $60.00. It has been great, made a huge difference in starting the bike. Have had no issues, holds charge for a long time, don't use the battery charger hardly at all. With old wet cell type, I was always connecting it to the charger.

The addition of a Big Crank and iridium plugs have made a world of difference for my ride. Fired right up this morning at Oh-Dark-Hundred when it was still right around freezing. With a balaclava under my helmet and plenty of layers, it was a good ride in. Now I just need to find some better winter gloves....
