battery tender for AGM

Looking for battery tender\maintainer recommendations. I have read that with AGM batteries many of the models like the battery tender jr. (not sure on plus) don't actually fully charge AGM cells. I read of some folks eveb putting a load on battery to trick charger into going into charge mode and then leaving it.

I saw a Yuasa model with many positive reviews but its not clear if its AGM-friendly.

What say you? I have a full size Schumacher charger I use or automotive etc., but I am looking for something I can use when I pull AGMs and other smaller batteries standard cell batteries out and bring in basement for the winter to keep them ready to go.

If I can split a case and make it work - you can too!

I have the Yuasa (YUA1201000) 1 amp charger. It is small, smart (will not over charge), cheap ($30-ish), and works fine on AGM batteries.

Battery Tender Jr. Works just fine. It's Fe Ion batteries that need a specific charger. AGMs will roll with any trickle charger.
