Which Wire for driving lights.

I want to clamp a pair of low amp (20each) driving lights on the engine case crash bar of my 1995 vn750 for visibility but not sure which accessory wire to use.

I have been reading a lot about the 'wonderful' electrical system on these bikes and want to use a switched circuit rather than direct to battery. I want them on in city riding so folks can see me coming rather than for lighting the road which is why I am going with low voltage.

I just got this bike and started reading the forums and there is a plethora of good lighting information spread out so it there a summary of the best lighting mods for the bike and best source: like headlight bulbs, led tails, led turns volt meter?

Please be kind to this newbie, first post

Sounds like you could use a set of LED driving lights for your purpose. LEDs consume next to nothing for amps, look great with their 'blue/white' light, and can be wired into virtually any HOT wire w/o loss of wattage or charging problems. They provide the extra visibility you're looking for.

That sounds like the ticket, got any suggestions where to get them. I think I saw them at walmart for around $15.
