Wire wires and more wires

If I had money I wouldn't be in this predicament...I would just go buy me a lot of bulk wire in every color imaginable to mankind. My wiring harness looks like a family of rats used it to make a nest out of...or maybe more like colored spaghetti . But any ways... I have recently realized what is going on with my bike deciding that she doesn't want to run. I have a short in the stearing head some where. So I am about to head out to the garage and try to track it down. And while I am at it...I am going to make the wiring harness look prety again.

Just left a post on the other thread where a couple of members have reported extra keys on key ring shorting out on gas tank. Do you carry any extra keys with ignition key?

Good luck. I don`t mind changing parts, but I hate tracking down electrical problems.
