how do you bypass the rlu. I have a led headlight and the flicker is driving me nuts

Disconnect the connector for the reserve lighting unit.
On the 'bike' side of the connector, jump the blue wire to the blue/yellow wire.
That's it.

Your headlight failure indicator light should be completely off instead of dimly lit.

Failure of either filament will need to be dealt with manually, of course. Lose your low beam, and you have no choice but to blind people when riding at night.
